Piwakawaka Flax Bouquet
Artiflax’s Piwakawaka Bouquet is inspired by New Zealand’s Native Bird the Fantail.
It is similar in colouration to our Fantail Bouquet, but the Piwakawaka Bouquet is larger in size and features more individual flax flowers.
The Fantail or “pīwakawaka” in Te Reo (Maori) is a playful, cheeky little songbird found throughout New Zealand forests, orchards and gardens.
The piwakawaka is easily recognised – as their name suggests, their black and white tail feathers open and spread out like a fan as they flit about foraging for food.
This hand-tied flax bouquet features approx. 15 flax flowers in earthy browns, creams, neutral tones and black with a spectacular hint of gold felt foliage from Oh Em Gee - New Zealand's Original Felt Florist.
This flower arrangement is lovingly wrapped with a neutral mesh and bold black abaca and finished off with a stunning gold ribbon.
Approx length of bouquet is 800mm.
Please Note: Bouquets may vary slightly from the one pictured, dependent on what flowers are in stock at the time.
